Four Stages of the Mastery Teaching Pathway
- 01 Foundation: Building basic skills and delivering them with fidelity.
- 02 Proficient: Enhancing delivery of practices and delivering them to mastery.
- 03 Accomplished: Sharing knowledge and skills, coaching and collaborating, and completing tasks independently.
- 04 Lead: Delivering exemplary practice, influencing peers and taking responsibility for delivery.
Professional Development for Teacher Registration
Teachers can complete any eight modules to fulfil the 20 hours of professional development set by each Australian state and territory. Teachers just need to submit eight of the Certificate of Completions to their respective agency.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Some school team members may already have undertaken professional learning like GGSA professional learning and may also have significant years perfecting that experience in schools.
If you feel that have such experience, you can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with GGSA. You will need to demonstrate that you can master the range of practices associated with your role.
