Modules
GSA has over 300 modules that principals, instruction coaches, teachers, and teaching assistants can access. They are based on a wide range of subjects encompassed within effective teaching techniques and practices, positive high expectations behaviour, schools cycles of practice, and school improvement. They are clustered into five types of modules being: prerequisite modules, core modules, teaching program modules, practice modules, and mini modules.
Pre-requisite Modules
Pre-requisites are introduction modules that cover each of the course themes of effective teaching, positive high expectations, cycles of school practice and school improvement modules. All school roles complete these so that they develop a strong grounded understanding of these subjects.

Core Modules
Core Modules cover the course themes of effective teaching, positive high expectations, cycles of school practice and school improvement modules. All school roles complete some of these modules in whatever course they undertake.

Elective Modules cover the teaching of curriculum programs that teachers and teaching assistants complete. Teaching team members chose the modules to match the programs and year levels they are delivering in their classroom.

Practice Modules

Mini Modules
Based on international teaching experts and their explicit instruction work. They showcase practical strategies about effective teaching. They run from 12 to 20 minutes with pauses so participants can practise the skills.
